Lagniappe at Congo Square

Sunday March 25, 2013 – A group of 52 Chattanooga high school students got a custom tour of the French Quarter in the morning and a Music Tour after lunch. The Congo Square Festival was right in our usual tour path.  Taking advantage of the situation some of the students got a little lagniappe as they walked by groups of teen brass bands warming up for their spot in a music competition.

Milton Carr a New Orleans native shared his personal experience as a member of a Mardi Gras Indian tribe.  The history and traditions.  Thanks  Milton.
